PA-DSS compliance requires that your system(s) be protected with a firewall. Your application can be certified using the included Windows Firewall, however, you may need to make some adjustments to the firewall settings. To manage the Windows Firewall, open the Windows Control Panel. Select 'Windows Firewall'. Then click on Advanced Settings. You can then create rules for specific programs or network ports.
You may install a 3rd party firewall/anti virus product (Norton, McAfee, etc.), however, you must contact that vendor for specific configuration information.
