PC Charge Payment Server

  1. Before you can setup credit card processing in The General Store, you must assign an employee with Administrator rights and a strong password. You may have more than one Administrator.

  2. If you have a prior version of PC Charge (Payment Server or PC Charge Pro) read these instructions first !

 

There are several steps to installing and configuring PC Charge Payment Server:

 

  1. Install PC Charge Payment Server to the correct folder

  2. Install the SSL Certificate

  3. Configure (copy) the SSL Certificate

  4. Configure Payment Server with your processing information

  5. Configure Payment Server for SSL

  6. Configure The General Store

 

If you have a networked environment where more than one station will process credit cards, you must also:

 

  1. Configure your server with a static IP address

  2. Install the PC Charge Client on all workstations

  3. Install the SSL Certificate on all workstations

  4. Configure (copy) the SSL Certificate

  5. Configure The General Store

 

Important:  It is absolutely critical that you test your installation by processing a credit card sale and verifying with your processor that the sale has gone through correctly.
